Our client is an international investment group with a dynamic IT environment. They face the challenge of translating their security strategy into operational measures and further developing their technical security infrastructure. While awaiting a permanent hire, they are looking for an Interim IT Security Manager to temporarily fill this critical role.

The organization aims to increase its security maturity and is seeking an experienced professional who can work hands-on on technical security projects, incident response, and cloud security. You will act as the technical sparring partner for the CISO and work closely with the IT team.

An experienced IT Security specialist who is both technically skilled and an excellent communicator. You can translate complex security issues into practical solutions and have experience in international environments.
Hard requirements
- Proven experience in a technical security role (IT infrastructure + business applications).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security and related technologies.
- Experience with security architecture & design.
- Familiarity with security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, COBIT.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Experience with incident response and collaboration with SOC partners.
- Excellent command of English (Dutch or French is a plus).

Practical details
- Location: Walloon Brabant.
- Duration: 3 to 6 months.
- On-site: 4 days per week, 1 day home office possible.
