Our client is seeking an accomplished Financial Director to assume a pivotal role as the co-driver of the BeNe region, playing a crucial part in steering the company towards the achievement of its strategic and commercial objectives together with the Management Team. This role entails overseeing overall financial and business support.
We are looking for a Financial Director, analytical, pragmatic and business-oriented.
As a financial professional, you establish and implement governance systems to ensure adherence to corporate standards and requirements.
You guide the implementation of controls, principles, policies, and procedures to guarantee alignment with financial management, legal, risk management, and additional corporate prerequisites.
You oversee the necessary reporting and analysis functions to lead financial and accounting activities within the business.
You oversee and interpret the preparation of precise and timely financial, commercial, and statistical information, ensuring compliance with the necessary accounting standards.
You execute the country’s financial strategy by supervising the Budget and Forecasting process, ensuring alignment with both Corporate and Divisional directives and the specific requirements of the business.
You contribute to projects to improve revenue, margins, and overall business profitability. Coordinate the CAPEX and OPEX processes with a particular emphasis on business development.
You furnish the management team with the necessary information to monitor and respond to Strategic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Operational scorecard data.
Offering guidance, support, and coaching to direct reports to enhance performance, quality, and value-added activities is also in your scope.
You constantly seek opportunities to optimize processes and eliminate inefficiencies.
You apply continuous improvement in all finance processes to reach best in class efficiency and effectiveness.
You have a solid financial background with at least 10 years working experience in audit, financial controlling/governance, treasuring, reporting, consolidating accounts, etc.
You have a strong analytical mindset combined with a hands-on approach.
Working on processes with a helicopter view is part of your DNA.
