Function
We are looking for a General Manager Sales, an open-minded strategic leader.
As the head of the Business Sales division, you are responsible for all sales activities and the development of the Sales team and its functions. This means:
- You prepare and execute sales strategies in alignment with the company's targets. In this context, you oversee market research and benchmarking activities and promote value-added initiatives.
- Working in conjunction with internal departments, you manage and coordinate sales and planning activities.
- You ensure the profitability of the Business by, among other things, promoting the standardization of sales processes and efficiency improvement activities.
- You lead the team, ensuring that expertise and competencies remain in line with the requirements of the strategic plan.
- You play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing customer relations. You lead communication and negotiations with customers at all levels and also review and approve all sales quotations for our customers.
- You manage and support region-wide resource planning.
Profile
- You rely on a solid background of 10-15 years in commercial roles within the automotive industry, preferably at tier 1 suppliers.
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in senior management positions, demonstrating your ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- You possess strong leadership and a keen commercial sense, allowing you to guide teams and make strategic business decisions.
- You exhibit efficient management and coaching skills, ensuring that your team reaches its full potential.
- Your communication and negotiation skills are excellent, facilitating effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in English is a requirement.
- You are open to international travel and adaptable to working with different cultures, making you a valuable asset in our global business operations.
