A scientific paper on the topic, authored by Dr. Christoph Herde and world authority in assessment research Prof. Dr. Filip Lievens, has been published in the prestigious Journal of Applied Psychology.

The effectiveness of multiple speeded asessments

💡This groundbreaking research delves into the effectiveness of multiple speeded assessments (i.e. a series of “flash” role-plays): various assessor pools assessed a sample of 96 participants in eighteen 3-minute role-plays, designed to capture situations in the junior management domain. Aggregated across all ratings, the overall validity for predicting future performance (as rated by the participants’ supervisors) was exceptionally high (.54)!  

Main project partner

💪As the main partner in this project, Hudson developed the role-plays, provided role player and assessor training, professional role players/assessors, and various psychometric tools (a reasoning ability test, personality questionnaire and E-tray), which all contributed to the study's success.
