For one of our international clients—a major player in the food industry—we are looking for a hands-on Interim Operations Manager who will act as the key link between the Belgian headquarters and a production site in Italy.
The technical and local expertise is already present on-site. We need you to streamline the implementation of a new packaging line and guide the local team toward a successful launch.
The Mission:
- You will oversee the setup and launch of a brand-new packaging line at a food production facility in Italy.
- You act as the vital bridge: translating strategic guidelines, quality standards, and production goals from Belgium into clear, operational execution on the Italian shop floor.
- You align local expertise with corporate goals, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and quality standards.
Your Profile:
- Proven track record in operations management within the food industry (food production, processing, or packaging).
- Fluency in Italian and English/Dutch is an absolute requirement. You must be able to communicate effortlessly with both Belgian stakeholders and the Italian floor workers.
- Strong leadership and cultural sensitivity; you know how to motivate a local team using their own expertise.
- Willingness to relocate to/stay in Italy for the duration of the project.
