Function
As Business Development Manager, you drive the growth of the Bioanalysis division by identifying and developing strategic business opportunities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Prospection of new clients and development of existing accounts for Preclinical (GLP) and Clinical (GCLP) bioanalytical projects
- Leading strategic projects and ensuring timely action plans
- Actively networking within the (bio)pharmaceutical sector
- Negotiating and closing business deals
- Building strong internal relationships to support cross-functional opportunities
- Representing customer needs internally and following up on proposals and contracts
- Contributing to the mid-term strategy and yearly budget
- Representing the company at conventions and industry events
- Maintaining the CRM database
Profile
- At least 5 years of sales experience in CRO/pharma, ideally in Bioanalytical Services
- Scientific or Business Management background
- Fluent in English; very good command of French and Dutch
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (GLP, GCP, FDA, ICH M10)
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Broad network in the pharmaceutical sector
- Knowledge of drug discovery and development principles
- Salesforce experience is a plus
- Comfortable working remotely with client visits
- Proactive, results-oriented, strong negotiator and team player
