Job description

  • You manage and develop new accounts through leads or by prospecting new customers
  • You detect and elaborate new business opportunities with existing accounts
  • Based on the customers’ needs, you propose the best solutions and work on custom-made projects in close collaboration with Engineering and Production
  • You work on a regular basis with the colleagues from Engineering; Production; Quality; Costing and Pricing both in the presales process and post sales in the implementation phase
  • You are responsible for the entire sales process from opportunity spotting to the negotiation with the different parties at the customers (production, engineering, purchasing)
  • You work according to the group pricing strategy to achieve the commercial and financial targets
  • You prepare activity reports, sales projections, market reviews and innovation opportunities on a weekly basis
  • You visit your customers and prospects across the Benelux and sometimes travel to the Netherlands, France or other countries in Europe
  • You report to the Sales Director

Profile

  • You have 1 - 4 years of relevant sales experience
  • You have the commercial flair and drive to acquire new clients and to manage existing clients and make them grow
  • You combine strong analytical skills with conceptual and creative thinking in terms of product development and product management
  • You are an excellent communicator towards internal and external stakeholders
  • You have the ability to work in transversal and interdependent partnerships with the departments of the head office, especially with Sales
  • Your way of working is flexible, you have an autonomous spirit and you like taking ownership
  • Integrity is key
  • You are proficient in Dutch, French and English
  • A packaging experience is a plus but not a prerequisite
