Position

  • As a C&B expert, you support the further improvement of employee salary structures and benefit programs by providing financial, market and legal insights as well as analysis of existing programs in the different Tessenderlo BUs worldwide.
  • To reach your goal, you collaborate with the Group Reward Manager in the delivery of the annual compensation review, by providing relevant payroll, market pay and employee engagement analyses, drafting employee communications and management briefings, and preparing line-management decision-making tools.
  • You play an active role in maintaining and improving the Compensation module of the HR IS, this in collaboration with the HR IS Officer. Being the point of the contact for training, change management and support before, during and after the annual compensation review in the HR IS is also part of your responsibility.
  • You assist in job gradings in the different Tessenderlo BU worldwide (Hay Methodology).
  • You prepare contracts and packages for complex individual cases, international assignments, hires and relocalisations as well as the follow-up of these ongoing individual files.
  • Advising on complex social and legal matters is part of your job as well.
  • You further deploy a global process for international mobility including dealing with individual questions.
  • You act as the single point of contact for consultants and other related service providers and internal stakeholders, e.g. global tax, broker, payroll setup, etc.
  • You take charge of immigration and work permit issues, ensuring a smooth relocation and proper social security coverage.
  • You report to the Group Reward Manager and are part of a large global HR team.

Profile

  • You hold a masters’ degree in Law / Economics, or equivalent through experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in complex international compensation & benefits, including legal and tax and social security aspects.
  • Experience with job evaluation / grading in an industrial context is a strong plus.
  • As an analytical thinker you are able to makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information, combining these elements to global framework.
  • With your financial, business and legal insights, you easily interpret the main direct and indirect costs as well as the local differences in employment law to make better business decisions.
  • As a proactive problem solver and teamplayer, you formulate pragmatic solutions and execute them in a hands-on way.
  • Good communication skills in English-Dutch or English-French, both written and verbally.
  • Willing to travel occasionally (max.10%).
