As IT support you help end users with technical IT problems related to software products, software programs or systems, in order to guarantee continuity within the organization.
You provide support through incident management system and telephone to users to ensure that a fast and user-friendly service can be offered.
You follow-up the service desk incidents and look for efficient solutions to solve incidents such as connectivity issues, access problems including password reset, provide support for video conference, IP communication, Online meetings, e-mails, … If necessary you escalate incidents to next level specialist.
You ensure proper execution of administrative tasks related to the Windows environment, telephony and network infrastructure in order to solve problems more quickly without having to escalate to higher levels.
You map out and report continuously reoccurring problems and offer support when searching for solutions to ensure that problems can be avoided.
You install/deploy/maintain software and hardware to ensure that internal customers can make optimal use of our standard set of applications and tools.
You participate in the execution of IT projects, in order to contribute in achieving the project goals and to give necessary support to colleagues.
You provide IT training for new employees, as well as update training sessions for experienced users in order to increase the skills and knowledge of hardware and software of the end-users.
You maintain the IT-documentation on Sharepoint ensuring that the IT/architecture documentation is up to date at all times.
You maintain your professional knowledge and technical skills and maximize the application within the organization
Perform any other duties as required
Bachelors’ or master’s degree in computer science or in a related field.
At least 2 years of experience as IT-Support.
Fluent in English and German. French will be considered as an asset.
Team player attitude and attention to details with strong analytical skills.
Self-starter in a small team, work independently and drive delivery focus.
Hands-on attitude is a must.
Fast learner, flexible and eager to learn new things.
Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude.
Strong service attitude and solution oriented.
Thorough knowledge of computer hardware.
Thorough knowledge of the Windows environment, Office suites and Email.
ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics will be considered as an asset.
