As Product Manager you grow EMPWR’s business by supporting the customer and EMPWR in launching new and improving existing products. You manage and implement customer projects and tenders.
You translate opportunities into product concepts and support the sales team in introducing these concepts to their customers. You lead multifunctional project teams (R&D, supply chain, customer etc.) in product development.
You perform a customer product assortment review with the aim to increase revenue and profitability. You bring proposals to fill gaps, upgrade formulas or phase-out references.
You are the key player between the customer and R&D, operations and the packaging department. You orchestrate label & artwork co-development with your customers.
You manage customer product related questions and cascade these throughout the organization and you continuously optimize the production innovation funnel and tools.
You report to the Product Marketing Manager.
Profile
You have a master’s degree and a minimum of five years of relevant work-related experience, preferably in the food industry. Market knowledge is a plus.
You have affinity with food technology and/or sports nutrition and/or healthy snacks.
You combine strategic thinking with a process driven approach but remain pragmatic at any time.
You are proficient in project management and you enjoy having contact with customers.
You are a result-oriented and driven team player, you develop strong partnerships and work cross-functional at different levels in the organization.
You have excellent communication skills. English is mandatory, additional languages are an asset.
