Position

Developing business and a team

  • Whilst you align with the vision and mission, you develop and lead the Sales, Business Development and Marketing organization.
  • You define business strategy, and you align development and execution of the long-term sales coverage and penetration plan.
  • You define and implement the strategy in terms of sales and marketing and ensure alignment with high level business objectives.
  • You identify market opportunities and visit customer and competitor gatherings to build the commercial network.
  • You are in direct contact with European prospects and accounts. You take an active role in further developing and growing these as well as the business.
  • You are responsible for the launch of product marketing related activities such as external (products) communication, publications, and business fairs.
  • You prepare your team (starting with 2 collaborators) and the business for the future by optimizing systems and building efficient processes for sales and account management, as well as for marketing purposes. Almost starting from scratch.
  • You are a member of the board of directors.

Profile

  • You preferably have a Master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • You have significant experience in international B2B sales development, understanding the value chain of these type of products. Sales and marketing experience in polymers is a plus, experience in the sector of plastics a must.
  • You understand the market, you have a proven track record in launching new products and applications. As well as in defining and rolling out a pricing strategy.
  • You are an experienced commercial negotiator.
  • You possess strong strategical skills and can easily understand, evaluate, improve and develop strategies.
  • You work hands-on and show entrepreneurship and organizational ownership. You are a pioneer.
  • You are a strong communicator creating an impact on every level within a company.
  • You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge of French. Any knowledge of Italian would be an asset.
