Experienced manager with an eye for optimizations who knows how to combine the operational and strategic

• Within this new position, you will be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day coordination of the entire supply chain process from the follow-up of purchasing, incoming raw materials, production planning, warehousing, customer service and logistics (deliveries to end customers).
• You translate the sustainable and long-term strategy for the Innovad group into objectives and projects that you develop together with your supply chain team. In this way, you guarantee an efficient and reliable supply chain that meets the highest requirements in terms of quality and customer service.
• You guarantee effective and efficient production planning, taking into account the optimal stock of raw materials, production efficiency and minimum use of transport resources. You keep a close finger on the pulse to adjust where necessary and implement best practices in forecasting, S&OP and logistics.
• You analyze the existing operational supply chain processes and determine structural improvement projects with a view to optimization, quality and (cost) efficiency. You guarantee and optimize the continuity of purchasing, planning and logistics processes.
• You manage and coach a team of about 10 employees. You are an involved manager who supports and guides the team in order to achieve the organizational objectives.
• You occupy a key position within the internal organization and are the pivotal figure between various stakeholders, creating support and know how to align the interests of the different departments (Sales, Production, Finance, Supply Chain) in light of the common organizational objective.
• You maintain good relations with suppliers and subcontractors, and always try to obtain the best conditions in negotiations and monitor service levels.
• In this role you report to the COO and are part of the extended management team. 

Position

• You have a Master's degree (supply chain/logistics) and several years of experience in a similar role in a dynamic and international environment. You know very well the interaction between Supply Chain and Production and the impact on the organization.
• You have an affinity with the feed, food or chemical sector.
• You have a passion for planning, numbers, efficiency and business optimization, and want to work in an international, thriving business context.
• You are a leader who knows how to gain support and are an accessible point of contact. You enjoy coaching, inspiring and motivating employees.
• You are an international team player with a hands-on attitude and strong communication skills. You enthuse others and involve the different (also international) stakeholders to achieve the best result.
• You have a helicopter view which enables you to make decisions with attention to the broader framework of supply chain, quality and sustainability.
• Your sense of initiative drives you to constantly look for optimizations and structural solutions.
• You are willing to travel occasionally.
• Besides knowledge of Dutch, you have a good knowledge of English.
