The company's main goal is to provide nursing staff and doctors with reliable medical devices, in order to offer their patients, from children to adults, the best quality care possible in the safest possible environment, both in the hospital and at home.

Position

The role involves acting as a clinical trainer to customers but with the commercial skills to drive the business forward. This position will focus on specific products defined each year according to the BU Strategy.

You will be in charge of trainings and of the organisation of workshop sessions in hospitals for existing and new users to provide insight into Best Practice guidelines for the correct use of our products. You will also be in charge of analysing the market needs in order to help to improve the product positioning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team and grow the PAM/ONE business.
  • Conduct training sessions and implement rollout plans for a range of products that revolves
    around Vygon’s vascular access product and medical equipment portfolio.
  • Follow test phases, to collect and to process the results of the test.
  • Work with the commercial team to retain existing customers.
  • Collect customer feedback and suggest appropriate solutions for the customer.
  • Assist in new product introduction and release activities.
  • Analyse the Belgian market and the competitor environment for specific products defined each
    year according to the BU Strategy.
  • Participate to congresses and symposia.
  • Organize local symposium around key products.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and market dynamic.
  • Maintain and develop permanently the professional and technical knowledge through self-study of
    your product range.

Profile

  • Bachelor/master degree with a medical background.
  • Sales experience in medical devices.
  • Experience with products related to the business unit could be an advantage.
  • Good presentation skills, you feel comfortable speaking for a large group.
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and French and you have a good knowledge of English.
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed, you can also work in a team.
  • Solution and result-oriented.
  • Organized, Rigorous and eager to learn
  •  You easily build strong relationships with clients and staff.
